Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and target potential clients in need of consulting engineering services.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote the company.
  • Organize and lead client meetings, presentations, and proposal negotiations.
  • Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop compelling and competitive proposals.
  • Customize proposals to address specific client needs and project requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals and follow-up on client feedback.
  • Marketing Strategy:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Utilize digital marketing, social media, and other channels to promote services.
  • Analyze marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and progress towards targets.
  • Provide feedback to management on market conditions and potential opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of consulting engineering services and the market landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Established network within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with proposal development and contract negotiation processes.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
